S A N C T U A R I E S

Alaya Sanctuaries are places where everyone should feel safe.  These are stunning properties in nature that are established in partnership with Symbols of Hope (our "not for profit" partner) to provide vulnerable and resilient people and their families, a place to rest, heal and reconnect with themselves.

This could be in the form of a rural home, tiny home or beautiful campsite or glamping site, usually surrounded by nature. We encourage an environment that allows guests to nourish their bodies and nourish their souls.

If you are a Sydney, Central Coast or Newcastle based organization, working with vulnerable communities, please contact us if you would like to explore access, to these unique sanctuaries.

Our sanctuaries are excited to host:

  • Retreats for mothers and children recovering from DV.

  • Small group school holidays camps, for children's charities.

  • Youth Camps for at-risk youth charities.

  • Breaks for workshops for carers, nurses and EMT workers

  • Artist workshops (including painting and pottery).

  • Gardening and tree planting.

  • Parent and child camps (e.g. Father/Son etc)

  • Social outings for older members of the community.

For more information, or to register your interest in becoming a partner and booking time at a sanctuary, please contact us by completing the contact form and tell us more about you and how we can assist.

"In their own words", listen to the words of some of our youngest sanctuary guests, to understand the impact the space can have on those who visit.

We empower people who have fallen through the gaps, to build sanctuaries that break down walls.
